Fourth Annual Congress of the European Society for Vascular Medicine

Dear ESVM Member,

In March 2018 the Fourth Annual Congress of the European Society for Vascular Medicine will take place in Prague. In addition, the congress will be staged in cooperation with the Czech Society of Angiology.

The latest developments in the field of vascular medicine will be the highlights of this event. Vascular medicine is the fastest growing field of internal medicine. Patients with peripheral artery disease currently account for the third largest disease category worldwide, associated with an exceptionally high cardiovascular risk and resulting in an exceedingly high mortality rate. Access to treatment for these vascular patients is still appalling on a global scale.

Therefore, it is important to establish a network to help these patients with the highest level of knowledge. The ESVM Congress in March 2018 is to contribute to this.
