Dear colleagues,

it is unbelievable, but the traditional congress of the Czech Angiological Society with international participation is approaching. The Angiological Days, the 44th in a row, will take place on February 28th – March 2nd, 2019 in Prague, at the Vienna House Diplomat Hotel. We would like to build on previous successful congresses, which is only possible with your participation. Therefore, accept our invitation to present the results of your work, share your experiences, discuss issues related to vascular diseases, or just to passively participate.

From the successful congress of the European Society for Vascular Medicine, which we co-organized in March 2018, we want to incorporate into the scheme of the Angiological Days some proven program ideas, such as symposia with the results of recently concluded studies or discussions Pro and Contra. The congress program will also offer thematic blocks focused on disease areas or certain drugs, sections prepared in cooperation with related professional societies, presentations of new recommendations (eg. for the treatment of venous diseases issued in 2018), transmissions from catheterization rooms or morning, practically oriented workshops. Especially for young vascular specialists, we would like to develop more a case study section. But the most important part in the program are your works, which you submit.

It is an honor and a pleasure for me to be able to cordially invite you on behalf of myself and the entire committee of the Czech Society of Angiology to the 44th Angiological Days in Prague and look forward to a nice personal meeting. It is important to develop and maintain nice and beneficial professional events even in the age of electronics.
